Profile characteristics
All P10 profiles are made of aluminum and have an IP20 protection rating, which makes them suitable for indoor use. They are glass shelf profiles, designed to work together with a glass pane.
The family includes two groups of models:
- Load-bearing profiles: P10-1, P10-6, P10-8, P10-10. They support a glass shelf up to 25 cm deep. P10-6, P10-8 and P10-10 carry loads of up to 15 kg, P10-1 up to 6 kg. P10-1 takes two LED strips: one lights the edge of the glass, the other lights the back of the shelf.
- Compact profiles: P10-3 and P10-4. P10-3 (16.4 × 27 mm) is intended for glass up to 8 mm thick, and P10-4 (12.5 × 19.3 mm) for glass up to 6 mm. Each has a dedicated opal polycarbonate diffuser: C20 or C19.
Every model is available in four finishes: silver anodized, and white, black and graphite lacquered. End caps come in colors matching the profile. Profiles and diffusers are manufactured with a positive tolerance.
Applications
P10 profiles are designed for glass in furniture and retail displays. In practice, this includes:
- Shop windows and retail displays: P10-6, P10-8 and P10-10 carry a shelf with products and light it, with no separate brackets or separate light source.
- Kitchen units, bars and shelving: illuminated glass shelves for glassware, tableware or collections, with loads of up to 15 kg on a shelf up to 25 cm deep.
- Wardrobes and walk-in closets: functional light where you need to see what is on the shelf.
- Display cases and shallow furniture: P10-4 (12.5 × 19.3 mm) and P10-3 (16.4 × 27 mm) fit where a larger profile would be visible.
- Shelves with a two-sided lighting effect: with two strips, P10-1 lights the edge of the glass and the wall behind the shelf at the same time.
- Bathroom furniture: P10-4 for glass shelves up to 6 mm thick in built-in furniture.
Advantages
- Load-bearing and lighting in one: P10-1, P10-6, P10-8 and P10-10 replace both the shelf bracket and a separate light fixture. Fewer components in the cabinet, less installation work.
- A version for each glass thickness: P10-6, P10-8 and P10-10 are matched to 6, 8 and 10 mm glass, so there is no guesswork in choosing the profile.
- Aluminum as the base material: efficient heat dissipation translates into a longer lifespan for the LED strip and stable system performance.
- Flexible mounting: all models are mounted with furniture screws, and P10-3 and P10-4 can also be fixed with double-sided tape or adhesive.
- A complete system: every model has dedicated end caps. For P10-6, P10-8 and P10-10 they are aluminum, in the profile colors. For P10-3 and P10-4 they come in two versions: solid and with a glass slot.
- SMD and COB strips: all models work with both strip types. P10-1 accepts C1, C4, C11, C13 and C14 diffusers, so the light can range from a distinct line to a soft, diffused glow.
- Lengths to suit the project: 1000 and 2000 mm as standard (P10-6, P10-8 and P10-10 also 3000 mm), and up to 6000 mm upon request.
- Four finish colors: the profile blends into the furniture without painting or masking.
